Shakira & Jennifer Lopez Super Bowl 2020 Halftime Show Performance

Music superstars Shakira and Jennifer Lopez shared the Super Bowl halftime stage Sunday — delivering an electrifying performance of their greatest hits. The icons even brought a couple surprise famous friends onstage to take part in the show, including Lopez's daughter.
The high-energy show kicked off with Shakira in a red dress flanked with dancers, belting her 2009 hit "She Wolf." She continued the show with a medley of her greatest tunes, including "Whenever, Wherever" and "Empire," dancing all the while.

Shakira brought special guest, Puerto Rican rapper Bad Bunny to the stage for a rendition of "I Like it," before transitioning into one of her biggest hits "Hips Don't Lie," during which she dove into the crowd.

Jennifer Lopez then began her set clinging onto a miniature building donned in a black leather leotard. The superstar started off her portion of the show with 2002 hit "Jenny from the Block," before yelling, "We from the Bronx, New York" to the audience.
The performer showed off her pole dancing moves and then welcomed Colombian singer J Balvin to the stage during a rendition of "Love Don't Cost a Thing."
Her performance of "Let's Get Loud" featured a chorus of young girls dressed in white surrounding the star, as a large female symbol appeared in lights. Her daughter, Emme Maribel Muñiz, also made a surprise appearance during the set — right alongside her mother.

The show was full of nods to the performers' Latin roots. Lopez showed of a dual-sided flag — with one side representing Puerto Rico and the other representing the U.S.
Notably, both artists sang in Spanish during multiple songs in their performance. Lopez's parents are both from Puerto Rico and Shakira is from Colombia.
The duo concluded their halftime show standing together on a podium as the audience went wild.

According to an NFL press release, the show is the first time the iconic stars shared a stage. The game took place on Shakira's 43rd birthday — making the performance even more special.
Before the halftime show, Jennifer Lopez offered words of encouragement to Shakira on Instagram. "So excited to share the stage with you tonight @Shakira!" she wrote. "Let's show the world what two little Latin girls can do.

NFL, Pepsi and Roc Nation announced the performance in September, with the two posting matching Instagram photos to share the big news after months of speculation.
Last year, Maroon 5, Big Boy and Travis Scott headlined the show. Other recent superstar performers include Lady Gaga, Beyoncé, Justin Timberlake, Bruno Mars, Madonna and Katy Perry — among many others.
The NFL season concluded Sunday with the San Francisco 49ers facing off against the Kansas City Chiefs at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida, which is the regular season home of the Miami Dolphins.

Girlfriends Guide to Super Bowl LIV

February is here, the season of love. But before we get all hot and bothered in preparation for Valentine’s Day, we’ve got another big day to prepare for- Super Bowl Sunday.
Now, ladies, I know there are some of you out there who are hardcore sports fans. When your team is playing, you are the first person at the bar, drink in hand, ready to cheer your boys on. However, there are quite a few women in this world who watch sports because their man is a fan, which is not a problem at all. Some men like their time alone with their beer, wings, and flat screen TV to watch their favorite team flat line their opponent. However, all of that goes out of the window on Super Bowl Sunday. Whether your man invites the homies over for a Super Bowl party or brings you along for a party at the homie’s house, there are a couple things to remember to keep everyone happy on Super Bowl Sunday.
First, let’s talk to the sports chicks. If you are a football fan, you know this season has been a rollercoaster ride, to say the least. From Jay-Z’s partnership with the NFL and the league-wide contract extensions to the breakout stars and incredible comeback story for the 49ers, this season has been one to remember. In the end, though, it all comes down to the big game. So, here we are. If you’re a Cowboys fan like me, your team was eliminated from playoff contention when they lost to the Philadelphia Eagles, so the big game won’t make a difference for you. However, if your man’s team made it to the Super Bowl, there are a few things you may want to get done for Super Bowl Sunday. But again, if you’re like me, your man’s team was plagued by injuries this season and didn’t make it to the playoffs, either. So, the two of you will have to find some fun in it, but if you couldn’t care less, just grab some snacks and enjoy the game.
Now, for those of you who are lucky enough to not be emotionally invested in a football team, there are a couple things we’ve got to go over before the big day. Let’s start with the terminology. When those cute, big, buff men in the tight pants run into the end zone, that is called a touchdown. That is all you need to know. Before the game, it is imperative that you pick a team to root for and stick with it. Don’t be that girl, screaming and yelling for both teams. But, if the sport is too boring for you to sit and watch with your man and his rowdy friends, there are a few other things you can do during Super Bowl Sunday to keep you busy-whip up some cool, delicious snacks.
Everyone knows that football Sundays are for chicken wings, especially buffalo wings. So, in order to be the best girlfriend in the world on Super Bowl Sunday, make all of your man’s friends jealous with a delicious buffalo chicken dip for the big day.
In addition to the delicious buffalo chicken dip, grab some salsa, some guacamole, and some queso to give your guest a variety. Provide some Tostitos, some potato chips, or maybe even a couple of pizza pies, whatever it takes to keep your man and his friends, happy and full.
Next, you want to make sure your Super Bowl party is stocked with liquor and beer. Most people have to work the day after the Super Bowl, but that won’t stop the party. Half of your guest will drink to ease the pain of not making it to the Super Bowl, while the other half will drink because it’s Sunday. So, be prepared.
Finally, keep the conversations to a minimum, unless it’s about the game. There’s a chance that your Super Bowl party will have at least one Kansas City Chiefs fan or 49ers fan, so more than likely-they are going to be into it. They will not want to hear about how you spent your Saturday, preparing for the party. Additionally, the commercials are one of the best parts of the Super Bowl, so, don’t talk during those either. You don’t want to be that girl that goes back to work on Monday without anything to talk about.
Other than that, you should be good to go.
Who do you think will take home the Vince Lombardi Trophy?
